Thinking about Business in Poland?

Whether you are a UK company thinking about entering the Polish market or want to develop your existing business here, the UK Trade and Investment team in Warsaw is here to help you.

UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) is the Government organisation that supports companies in the UK doing business internationally and overseas enterprises seeking to set up or expand in the UK.

How to start

UKTI offers a unique chargeable service - the Overseas Market Introduction Service (OMIS) - to UK based companies.

We can carry out research on your behalf to gauge the size of the market in Poland for your products or services, and identify key market players and potential customers. We can provide validated or warmed-up lists of agents or distributors, and make appointments for you. And if you want to launch or promote your product here, we can organise events to raise your profile and put you and your company in front of the right contacts

You can commission these services and more from us under OMIS. The service is very flexible, so if you can think of something you’d like us to help with we’ll be glad to talk to you about it.

Our Trade & Investment Advisers, all native Polish speakers with an excellent command of English, have great contacts and a thorough knowledge of the market here.

The UKTI team in Warsaw is based within the British Embassy. To get in touch with us please visit www.ukinpoland.fco.gov.uk or e-mail us at warsaw.commercialsection@fco.gov.uk

You can get more details of the OMIS service through the UKTI portal (www.uktradeinvest.gov.uk) – just click on “Want to Export from the UK?”, then choose “Market and Sector Research” on the “Our Services” page. Youth Business Poland

Youth Business Poland

“Youth Business Poland” is a member of this leading global CSR programme with representations in 37 countries around the world. Youth Business Poland was founded in Poland two years ago as a part of Fundacja Inkubator Technologiczny (FIT) and thanks to the cooperation with its main partners BGK and HSBC has supported 66 entrepreneurs. The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy has taken a patronage over the Youth Business Poland programme.

In the last 3 years youth unemployment has grown from 17% to 24%. There are 3 million young people in Poland not in employment. The global economic downturn combined with an increasing number of graduates creates a huge need for YBP.
